History: Founded mainly in the 1970s-1980s by first-generation immigrants; later grew into non-profits, developed textbooks, trained teachers, and expanded community impact.
What Volunteers Do
This is a great opportunity for high school students to earn their SSL hours helping Pre-School-Early Elementary students in our classrooms. Knowledge of Korean language is mandatory. Job includes assisting lead teacher, teaching the Korean language helping with projects, taking children to the restrooms, helping with snacks, and transitioning to other activities. All activities are secular in nature. Only 10th grade and up
