Who We Are
Word Dance Theater’s (WDT) mission is to provide dance education through classes, workshops, partnerships, and performances. Our work preserves the dance repertory and legacy of Isadora Duncan, the Mother of Modern Dance, (1877 to 1927) well as modernizing the Duncan philosophy and technique through our educational offerings. Through educational experiences and performances, we embolden people in all ages and stages of life to manifest wellness in today’s world. Word Dance Theater is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization.
What Volunteers Do
Volunteer activities could include: ticket taking, selling merchandise, helping with setting up spaces at informal performances or workshops, handing out programs, helping distribute flyers, taking informal photos and short videos.
