Who We Are
Our mission is to enhance the educational opportunities and environment for children and staff at Wyngate Elementary School (an MCPS school in the Walter Johnson cluster). We work with school and county education leaders to identify and fund the necessary capital improvements and curriculum enhancement that MCPS supports but cannot fund.
What Volunteers Do
Support elementary school students as they conduct Green Schools activities; design community art projects and coordinate elementary school age children as we complete them; organize and participate in intergenerational teams of volunteers for Earth Day programming. Support in fundraising events.
