Who We Are
We are a non-profit and our mission is to empower AAPI youth in underserved communities through culturally responsive programming and advocacy.
AALEAD truly believes in the positive effect of connecting a caring, committed adult with our young people.
What Volunteers Do
BECOME A MENTOR TODAY! We connect youth ages 8-18 with adults to form relationships that provide youth with a safe avenue to express their feelings and frustrations, improve their self-esteem, foster positive self-identity, give youth opportunities to explore new interests and develop hobbies, and motivate them to pursue higher education.
The AALEAD Youth Mentoring Program matches Asian Pacific American youth (8-18) with caring adults from the community who support them one-on-one in their efforts to develop the academic, social, and life skills necessary to succeed.
