Who We Are

The Cabin John Citizens Association is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the concerns of the Cabin John community.

What Volunteers Do

Since 1919, the Cabin John Citizens Association (CJCA) has worked to bring the community together through activities and community service. It also aims to further the interests of our community and has served as a forum for discussion of problems and concerns. The CJCA's fundamental goals are to support the residents of Cabin John and to preserve and promote our identity as a community.

Student volunteers can expect to help with various community-wide activities throughout the year, such as the Fourth of July Parade, our annual Crab Feast in the fall, and our 5k Turkey Trot at Thanksgiving, to name a few.  Each event requires many helping hands setting up, assisting with activities, and cleaning up after.
