Who We Are

Clarksburg Community Assistance Network (CCAN or Clarksburg CAN) is a network of churches and organizations working together to promote short and long term solutions to the problems of hunger in the Clarksburg community. Clarksburg CAN is a free community supplemental food pantry opened in October 2013.

What Volunteers Do

Clarksburg CAN volunteers assisted members of the Clarksburg community in need of food assistance by filling boxes with necessary food items from our pantry shelves. Volunteers also help with sorting and stocking donations and replacing expired food items, as needed. For this opportunity, students can earn three SSL hours per time the pantry is open. Pantry dates and opening times are the 1st Tuesday of each month (5:00-7:00 p.m.) and the 1st Saturday of each month (9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) and by appointment throughout the month.
