Damascus Soccer Club Inc

Damascus Soccer Club Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 that provides quality youth development soccer programs from Academy through travel for youth players from ages three to eighteen as part of the Arête Athletics Federation™. Our mission is delivered through Arête Athletics Federation™, Damascus Community Soccer™, Germantown Community Soccer™, Gaithersburg Community Soccer™, and Clarksburg Community Soccer™. Our mission is Character, Development, and Fun Through Youth Sports. 

We work collaboratively with local businesses, schools, and a network of volunteers to deliver our mission to youth and their families in Northern Montgomery County. We offer five primary programs: Academy, Recreation, Classic, Select Travel, and Futsal. Our Instructional Academy (ages 3-8) is divided into two segments: a regular academy for ages 3-6 and transition academy for ages 7&8. Our academy teaches children elementary soccer skills in a fun, engaging, and non-competitive environment to foster early physical and psychological development. Our Community Soccer Programs (ages 9-18) continues the focus on positive coaching and progresses into higher skill development. The Community Soccer program emphasizes character development, fitness and healthy living, improvement of skills, sportsmanship, and pure fun on the field. DSC also provides Select Travel experiences through NCSL and EDP. 

Finally, DSC is the Maryland partner to Stoke City Potters and Global Image Sports. As part of this network, we provide ID and Development camps to all players in the Maryland, DC, Virginia, and West Virginia region. Camps are coached by world-class coaches flown over from the Stoke Academy in England. 20% of the kids who participate in our ID camps at the state level will qualify for national camp in Georgia. 5% of the kids from National Camp will be offered a free ride to an EPL level training academy in Europe. The remaining 20% will also get invites to the European academy but will need to pay their own way.
