Damascus Theatre Company

Founded in 1985, the Damascus Theatre Company (DTC) is a not-for-profit organization that brings quality live performing arts to Damascus and the surrounding area.  We provide affordable opportunities, for people of all ages who are interested in community theater, to participate and develop skills in all aspects of live theater.

DTC is proud to be able to present live entertainment performed by the community for the community. Our DTC Mainstage typically performs two Broadway musicals each year while our DTC Kids (for children grades 3 through 12) performs one musical every spring. 

Our performance schedule over the last few years has been limited due to Covid-19 but we plan to resume our regular programming starting with DTC Kids Aladdin JR in May.

None of these productions would be possible without the support of our community and wonderful volunteers.  Volunteer opportunities vary for each production but may include set construction, painting, back stage and technical assistance (lights/sound), concessions and ushering.
