DC Metro Sai Samsthan

Organization, DC Metro Sai Samsthan, has a mission to build a Saibaba Temple in DC metro area for the Indian community to gather for religious functions and prayers. The temple, also, will be used to impart cultural education. Its aim is also to feed the hungry belonging to the community under the name of spiritual guru Shirdi Saibaba and will also coordinate the volunteering efforts with other charitable organizations.

DC Metro Sai Samsthan (DCMSS) is a 501(C)3 nonprofit charitable organization registered in Maryland state in the year 2009. DCMSS has organized several social & community related events such as food drives, cloth drives, and working with other Non Profit organizations. For example DCMSS has been working with local Montgomery County charitable organization like Manna Food Center and Shepherd's Table and with national organization such as American Red Cross, Salvation Army and Toys for Tots. During the last 1 year we have been serving sandwiches every other Thursday at Shepherd's Table in Silver Spring. We have also regularly helped Manna Food center with packaging of their collected food items and have helped them with food drive.
