Madison Fields, a project of the Madison House Autism Foundation, is a 400+ acre farm located in Dickerson in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. Madison Fields provides a multitude of opportunities for children and adults of all abilities, including military veterans, to learn, grow, and heal in an absolutely breathtaking environment. One of the most utilized programs at Madison Fields is the Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies Program: open to adults and children of all abilities, as well as our nation’s veterans.
Therapeutic Riding Program Support: Our riding program requires a dedicated group of horse & people loving volunteers. Please be sure to read the expectations specific to this rewarding experience in our volunteer manual. Volunteers are needed for:
- Side-walking
- Horse Leading
- Horse grooming
- Stall cleaning
