Who We Are

The Museum publishes a journal called Dials and Channels.

What Volunteers Do

The main museum facility is located in Bowie, MD, but the Museum has had special exhibits in Montgomery County from time to time, at places such as City Place Mall in Silver Spring, the Beall-Dawson House in Rockville, and the Montgomery County Office Building in Rockville. Lectures are given at public libraries in the area. The Museum has nearly 2000 visitors per year, with visitors coming from all 50 states and 30 foreign countries. Recently the museum was named one of the ten best museums in the state of Maryland. The Museum is currently seeking additional docents to lead tours through the Museum. Persons with expertise in publicity and fundraising are also sought.
