Who We Are
Rainbow Place is dedicated to providing shelter to women experiencing homelessness in a safe and caring environment and to assist them to make the transition to a better quality of life.
What Volunteers Do
Rainbow Place is an emergency shelter. We work with women often at the very beginning of their transition out of homelessness. Our primary focus is to keep the women we serve safe and off of the streets during the winter months.
Volunteers prepare and deliver dinner each night at 6:30pm. Volunteers also serve the evening meal. We are open all day on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day so we also need lunches on those days.
Students may receive SSL credit for serving with a parent. Both student and parent need to be signed up at our volunteer link
