Who We Are
RESET's mission is to spark enthusiasm for science and math learning in young students by presenting hands-on science sessions by STEM professionals in pre-Kindergarten and elementary school classrooms. Our long term goals are to increase the number of students who pursue science and engineering in their education and career choices.
What Volunteers Do
Are you interested in inspiring future scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians (STEM)? RESET places volunteer STEM professionals in pre-Kindergarten and elementary schools in DC, MD and VA to lead students in science and math experiments. Each ReSET volunteer leads a class of students in six one-hour experiments during a school term. Volunteers need no prior teaching experience.
