Sandy Spring Museum

Sandy Spring Museum supports community-driven cultural arts and educational programs. We gather community to build a sense of place and belonging.

The museum thrives because of a strong network of people who share a passion for building community and contributing to the common good. Throughout the year, there are volunteer opportunities that require a variety of skills, interests, and schedules. This may include helping with answering the phones, large mailings, cleaning up the museum grounds, and shoveling to name a few. Additionally, the Strawberry Festival (the first weekend each June) requires countless volunteers each year! There’s something for everyone, from capping strawberries, leading pony rides, handing out prizes for kids’ games and more.
