Shaare Tefila Congregation

Shaare Tefila is an egalitarian synagogue serving the Olney-Brookeville-Rockville area. Affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and it was established in 1951. Rich in history and Jewish community involvement, our synagogue offers many exciting programs and activities for young and old and maintains a warm, personal and caring environment.

We offer student volunteers opportunities to help with young child care during various events, organizing when donations are collected for different causes, and during our annual work as hosts for the MLK Day of Service for the Upper Montgomery County area.
