Who We Are

The Arc Montgomery County connects people with and without Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities of all ages and abilities with their communities to build inclusive and fulfilling lives.

What Volunteers Do

We support children, youth, adults and families by providing child care, work skills training, employment, community living services, resources, advocacy and respite care.

Individual volunteers ages 15 and older are welcome to provide volunteer service throughout the year.  Some opportunities have higher minimum ages and/or other required qualifications. Students who volunteer with us most often serve by supporting children in a classroom setting or socializing with teens in an after-school program. There are opportunities to volunteer at our special events.
