Who We Are

The mission of the Baha'i Faith is to bring unity to the world. Baha'is work specifically on establishing harmony where there are differences of race, religion, gender, education, and socio-economic status.

What Volunteers Do

Baha'is are leading a global movement inspiring young people age 11 to 15 to work together toward building a better world. We are looking for volunteers to create junior youth groups where they mentor younger peers and provide service in the community. Junior Youth Groups are made up of all faith backgrounds, and groups study materials based on moral concepts and then put what they have learned into action by providing a service in their community. Junior Youth Groups talk about how to navigate a complex world, resist negative forces in their lives, and promote social progress. They engage in meaningful conversations, arts and crafts, and service projects. The program thrives through the participation and contribution of people from diverse backgrounds and is open to all. Older youth and adults are needed to serve as facilitators and mentors as well.

Leading a variety of programs, like teaching children's classes, in addition to educating ourselves on how to best work with the community to establish programs where service to others is the main focus.
