Who We Are
On behalf of the United Korean School of Greater Washington, our mission is to educate students in Korean Language and Culture subjects, cultivating and instilling positive self-esteem so they will serve in society as well-rounded Korean American citizens.
What Volunteers Do
the UKS serves and influence the larger community and make a stronger bridge between the Korean American community and Montgomery County Public Schools. Our school programs to provide meaningful education to all who are interested in learning the Korean language and culture.
Classroom Helper:
You can volunteer every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM to assist students as they learn Korean language, culture, and history.
Online Tutoring (Ttiat Volunteer Program):
You can volunteer 1–2 hours a week online to help students with their Korean homework and studies.
