Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy

Our Scholar-Athletes hail from DC’s 7th and 8th wards and represent over 30 schools across the DMV. Scholar-Athletes participate in a year-round program that includes academic enrichment, baseball and softball programs, and extracurricular activities such as dance, art, theater, writing, cooking, and film. During the summer, Scholar-Athletes participate in a 6 week summer program that includes weekly field trips and monthly outings to Nationals Park.

The mission of the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy is to use the sports of baseball and softball as vehicles to foster positive character development, academic achievement, and improved health among youth from underserved communities in Washington, D.C.
