Who We Are
Partnership for Extraordinary Minds (xMinds) strives to improve the educational outcomes of students on the autism spectrum by providing resources, events and other forms of support to families and educators. We are a volunteer-run organization founded by parents of children on the autism spectrum.
What Volunteers Do
Student volunteers help us maintain a database of educator contacts, create and update resources on our website, create flyers for our events, and maintain our online calendar of community events. All our online resources, calendar events, and trainings relate to understanding and supporting autistic students. Our work can also include policy activities and opportunities to advocate on behalf of the autism community to local county council members and state lawmakers. We also host in person events and we seek student volunteers to help at social events such as playground meetups, teen socials, and fundraising events such as our annual Bike to the Beach ride.
