Who We Are

We offer multiple programs and are currently accepting volunteer service for our 5K event on September 29, 2019. The Race 4 Recovery is a 5K Run/Walk. We have partnered within the City of Rockville which will be hosting the event. The Run/Walk we be within the entire Rockville Town Square and will have security, police presence, and EMT service.

The Knight Foundation was created in honor of my son Trevor J. Knight. He was brilliant, talented, loving, gentle, and had a heart of gold. Trevor battled with addiction for a number of years. Two weeks prior to his 21st birthday, he lost his battle with addiction by a horrific and tragic overdose.

The foundation is committed to honoring my son by helping those who are suffering from addiction. Ultimately we want to save lives. To accomplish this we must bring awareness of this epidemic to every corner of the country, teardown stigmas related to addiction, educate the public on what they can do, work towards prevention within the schools/churches/and community, and assist family and friends that have lost loved ones.

Through Gods strength and the support of an extensive support network of amazing family and friends, The Knight Foundation was founded. The Knight Foundation looks forward to working with you to join this fight and be a partner in saving our loved ones from this evil disease.

What Volunteers Do

The Knight Foundation provides immediate action to those threatened by addiction and overdose. By creating awareness, recovery programs, implementing extreme prevention methods, and fostering a positive support network, out focus is on saving lives and promoting a healthy and productive future.
