Tifereth Israel and Himmelfarb School

Our congregation hosts service projects for low-income families and refugees. We have a school that runs on Sunday mornings for children from Pre-K - High School. Our high school curriculum includes learning about the value of repairing the world, which includes developing a program to help the community/world around them. We also run events open to the wider community and other community service opportunities for teens. 

We have a program that allows 8th graders to work on different community service projects - they are given options and decide which ones they would like to participate in.
