Rock Creek Conservancy is the only organization dedicated solely to Rock Creek, which meanders 33 miles through the Washington metropolitan area. As surrounding development threatens the health and beauty of these natural areas, Rock Creek Conservancy is uniquely positioned to foster outreach, education, and efforts to protect Rock Creek.

Rock Creek Conservancy offers fun, outdoor volunteer opportunities where individuals can make a visible difference through people powered restoration. Each year, thousands of volunteers help with litter cleanups, invasive plant removal, native plantings, social trail closings, and more!
