Charles Koiner Conservancy for Urban Farming (CKC Farming)

The Charles Koiner Conservancy for Urban Farming (CKC Farming) is a nonprofit land trust, established in 2018, to protect and sustain urban farms in Montgomery County, MD.  

Now, more than ever, the world needs healthy, knowledgeable, caring individuals, armed with the experience and understanding to build a smart, equitable, and sustainable food system.

Our vision is a network of urban farms here in Montgomery County, that are protected as valuable open spaces and recognized for the many amazing benefits that urban farms bring to a community. 

CKC creates meaningful opportunities for Montgomery County neighbors to connect with their land, their food and each other.  We hope you'll join us on our mission create and preserve this thriving network of urban farms.
