10th Mega Community Volunteering Event
Date: Saturday, August 14, 2021
Session 1 Time: from 10 AM to 12.00 PM
Session 2 Time: from 1 PM to 3.00 PM
Location: Shirdi Sai Mandir

Beneficiaries:
Sheppard's Food Table, Silver Spring, MD - Mega Sandwich Drive & Care Package
Manna Food Center, Gaithersburg, MD - Non perishable food drive
Summit Hall -School Bags for Elementary Kids
Instructions to Community:
We humbly request nonperishable food items contribution from community. ex: small canned items, beans etc
Instructions to Student Volunteers (Middle and High School Kids):
Please register for one session only. We are giving chance to more volunteers.
You will be participating in "Making Sandwiches", "Sorting nonperishable food items",
"Making care packages", "Pack School Bags".
Please bring your MCPS SSL form (560-51) to the event.
Every kid should wear masks to participate.
Follow social distancing guidelines.
If you are sick or you came across anyone who is sick during the last 72hours before the event, please do not join.
We will follow Montgomery County COVID guidelines.
If any kids fail to meet any of the above criteria, you will not be allowed to partake in the event.
Instructions to Parents:
Please register on students name not on parent name. Register separately for each sibling.
You are most welcome to contribute items for this food drive.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
