Inclusion Support Partners (ISP) provide one-on-one support to elementary or middle school students with disabilities participating in, Montgomery County Recreation sponsored, camp-styled programs on MCPS days off. All ISPs receive training to work with youth with disabilities. These opportunities offer a chance to enhance leadership skills, work with children and give back to the community. Kids Day Out programs are facilitated at Community Centers around the county 8a-4:30p. Minimum age 14 and in high school.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
