Want to help the National Foundation for Cancer Research while having fun scooping ice cream, passing out information, and collecting tips?
Volunteer with us on Tuesday, April 8th during Free Cone Day at the Ben and Jerry's at the Wharf along the Southwest Waterfront and help us raise money for cancer research.
We will be volunteering as guest scoopers and handing out free ice cream between 12pm-8pm on Tuesday, April 8th, and are seeking volunteers for 2-3 hour shifts.
Location is metro accessible via Waterfront on the Green line and L'Enfant Plaza on Blue, Orange, Silver, Green and Yellow lines.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
