Join us for SUMMERFEST 2026 - "A Whole New Scene at Olney Theatre!"
Volunteer on Sunday, August 9, 2026, as We Welcome Visitors to Campus.
Summerfest 2026 marks the opening of newly built venues to the public for the first time, and we'd love for you to be part of the excitement. The event - from 11:30am - 5:00pm - will consist of:
- A Ribbon-cutting ceremony.
- Dance and vocal performances.
- Children's activities and drama workshops.
- Vendors.
Volunteers will be organized into two-hour blocks of time so you can enjoy the festivities either after or before your shift. Shifts available starting at 9:00am.
- Help us with set-up at the beginning of the day and tear-down at the end of the event
- Provide vendor and performer support throughout the day
- Experience inside and outside opportunities, taking advantage of incredible music, art, and more
Leadership/Captain opportunities for those who have volunteered with us before.
As always, volunteering with us is a great way to earn SSL Hours!

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
