Make a difference. Volunteer with Sandy Spring Museum! Register here for the task of your choice. Our current volunteer needs include:
- Processing archival materials from Sandy Spring Bank (all spots filled)
- Postcard labeling to help us promote upcoming exhibitions
- Weeding and simple grounds maintenance
Come on your own and meet like-minded individuals, or bring a small group. No prior experience is required and all are welcome. Please dress accordingly for the task you select.
Volunteer Day is a monthly gathering where community members can make a real impact and help keep the museum running smoothly. Volunteer tasks vary month-to-month. All ages are welcome and SSL hours are available for students.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
