Sunrise Senior Living in Bethesda is for older adults who value their independence, but need some help with daily activities. This opportunity is meant for International Students, both MCPS and not, looking to complete their Student Service Learning hours. Volunteers participate in entertaining activities and engage in conversation with Sunrise residents. The elderly always have much to teach us, and this is a great way to help them. This volunteer opportunity is for rising Sophomores and above.

This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity held every second Tuesday and fourth Thursday afternoon of the month during the school year, please see specific dates below. Small groups of international students meet for a brief orientation at the English Now! School and travel together to Sunrise Senior Living for an SSL activity.
