Bethesda Cares serves the homeless as well as people who are at risk of having utilities turned off or losing their homes. They provide food assistance, financial support, and counseling services. Since Bethesda Cares first opened its doors, serving hot, nutritious food has been a priority and the meal program is a means of engagement for those living on the streets.
This is an excellent to engage with the community, especially those less fortunate than ourselves. Also, SSL hours may be collected from volunteering with us for this volunteer opportunity. Join us on the listed Saturdays to help serve lunch to those in need in our community. We will meet at English Now! in Bethesda for a brief orientation and then head over to the volunteer location together.
