The Montgomery County Volunteer Center is hosting the 2025 MLK Day of Service and Volunteer Fair at the North Bethesda Marriott in Rockville on January 19, 2025 and need event staff to support the event.
Specific areas of support include:
- Zone Assistants. As a Zone Assistant for each 20-Minute Service Projects, you will support the Zone Leader in ensuring that all projects within your assigned zone run smoothly and efficiently. Your role is to assist with ballroom setup and help navigate MLK Volunteers to the next zone. You will also assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies from vehicles for our participating host organizations.
- Event Guides. As Event Guides, you will assist with event set up, materials distribution, guiding attendees, creating an enjoyable experience for all attendees, help with control management ensuring flowing during peak times (including check-in and activity transitions).
All event staff will assist with post event tasks including event breakdown and clean up.
