Opportunity Title: In Kind Donation Transport
Opportunity Description: We are looking for volunteers to assist us with the transport of snack bags and hygiene kits from a Montgomery County volunteer engagement back to our Maryland office in Silver Spring. A valid driver's license registered and insured in the driver’s name and access to a personal vehicle will be required of all volunteers for these opportunities.
Department/Individuals Assisting: Ayuda’s Social Services Team
Responsible to: Our Volunteer Manager, Connor Paul
Responsibilities:
- Transporting snack bags and hygiene kits from Montgomery County volunteer engagement to our MD office
- Loading snack bags and hygiene kits into vehicle at the volunteer fair location
- Unloading snack bags and hygiene kits from vehicle at our Maryland office
Opportunity Requirements:
Required:
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to a personal vehicle that is registered and insured
- Strong cross-cultural communication abilities
- Being a team player
- Positivity and enthusiasm for our work
Preferred:
- Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 10 lbs.
Commitment: Volunteers will need to meet us at the volunteer site in Rockville, MD for the pick up on Sunday, January 19th at 3:15 PM
Technology Needed: No technology is needed to assist with this opportunity other than a personal vehicle.
