The Muddy Branch Alliance is holding its annual native plant sale! We need volunteers to help 1200 native plants reach their new homes in our community. The event functions as an online pre-sale; when we receive the plants, volunteers play a key role in sorting the plants and distributing orders to customers. Help us make it happen! Volunteer activities include picking up plants from the nursery, sorting plants into customer orders, calling customers to remind them to come get their plants, and helping customers carry plants to their cars.
No special knowledge of plants is needed - we will teach you the sorting process. Join us for this fun event!
Sign up for FRIDAY, the sorting day, if you like working with plants. Sign up for SATURDAY, the pick-up day, if you like working with people.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
