Help us plant and fence dozens of fruit trees and edible shrubs at the new Montgomery College food forest site. We have lots of plants to get in the ground, and lots of other things to do at the site! This is a great time to plug into the work we do as we’re at the beginning of our journey with this site. All ages welcome!
When: March 22nd, 3.30pm-6pm (we will postpone in the event of heavy rain or high winds.
Where: Montgomery College Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, 7676 Fenton St, Silver Spring, MD 20910
Please do bring your own water, and any gloves or planting tools you might have if you can.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
