Volunteers will rotate around a variety of jobs:
- ticket collection
- ball collection
- assist with slingshot operation (training provided)
- moving chairs
- counting people entering and leaving the event
- putting wristbands on folks who have signed the waiver for inflatables
Olney Days is an annual celebration that brings the community together. Over 8,000 people attended Olney Days Party in the Park last year. The giant slingshot is a fundraiser to help offset the expenses of the event.
After you register, you will receive a message with further information regarding where to go/check in process.
Volunteering will help make this part of the event successful. It will develop skills in communication and organization.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
