We are hosting an event to celebrate Earth Day. Participants will create bottle terrariums, pot plants, and plant seeds. Plants and terrariums can be taken home with the participant or left at the community center.
We ask that each participant brings their own clean and empty 2 liter bottle. If not, one will be provided.
Verbal and written instructions will be provided throughout activities.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
Setting up tables and chairs outside of the community center
Arranging activity materials on tables
Making sure all participants have a copy of activity instructions
Cleaning tables
Putting tables and chairs back where they belong
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
