Description

Be a Hero for Kids in Need – Become a Delivery Lead with Sleep in Heavenly Peace!

Thousands of children go to sleep every night without a bed. At Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we believe every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to lay their head. We’re a 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit building and delivering beds to kids who sleep on floors, couches, or other inadequate conditions — and we need passionate leaders like you to make it happen.

Now Recruiting: Volunteer Delivery Lead

As a Delivery Lead, you'll take a hands-on role in transforming lives right here in our community. You’ll lead a small team to deliver and assemble beds for children in need — making an immediate and lasting impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Load and transport bed parts from our local storage unit to families' homes

  • Deliver and assemble twin beds onsite with a team of volunteers

  • Enagage and lead your delivery team, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries

What We’re Looking For:

  • A compassionate, dependable person with leadership ability

  • Comfortable with light lifting and hands-on assembly, and power-tool use. (assembly training provided)

  • Available approximately 2–4 hours per delivery day (your choice of day), at least once a month

  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Why It Matters:

Every bed you deliver means a child no longer sleeps on the floor. You’ll see firsthand the joy and relief on the faces of families you help — it's a powerful, unforgettable experience.

If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy a hands-on approach, we encourage you to join our team!
