Engage directly with the public and share the joy of art! The Activity Assistant will staff the We Are Artistic interactive station, which may involve activities like holiday card making or a simple craft. You will be the friendly face of the organization, helping guests of all ages (especially children and families) participate in the activity while sharing our mission to support artists.
Responsibilities:
- Greet booth visitors warmly and explain the day's art activity.
- Distribute and manage art supplies (paper, markers, glue, etc.).
- Keep the activity area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
- Encourage participation and answer basic questions about We Are Artistic.
Requirements:
- A friendly, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Enjoy interacting with the public, including children.
- Comfortable with light organizational tasks (tidying up supplies).
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
