Choose Respect Student Advisory Committee

Calling all MCPS high school students!
Are you interested in making a difference? Do you have an interest in dating violence prevention? Then we need you to be a part of the Choose Respect Student Advisory Committee! Please fill out the application by November 17th.
Choose Respect Montgomery is an initiative to educate middle and high school students about dating violence prevention. This committee will mainly help with planning the annual RespectFest planned for Spring 2026. There will be other activities throughout the year as well.
Submissions are due Monday, November 17.
Students, please DO NOT respond to this opportunity. All students may participate and earn SSL hours by following the directions provided in the link below:

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy at any time the student is interacting with the nonprofit and its clients. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns. This service activity is designed to be completed within the safety of the student’s home.
