About Us:
The Patesi Foundation is dedicated to advancing period equity and empowering girls through education, access, and advocacy. We believe that no one should have their potential limited by a lack of menstrual resources or understanding—and we work every day to change that.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and helping us secure grants that expand our programs and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
- Write persuasive, mission-aligned grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
- Assist in preparing budgets and supporting documentation for grant submissions.
- Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to align proposals with current initiatives and priorities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong writing and research skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with nonprofit grant writing or related fundraising preferred (but not required).
- Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about gender equity and community impact.
- Able to commit at least 5-7 hours per week remotely.
- Able to commit for at least 6 months.
Impact:
Your words will directly translate into resources that provide menstrual products, education, and empowerment opportunities for girls and communities in need. This is an incredible opportunity to make a tangible difference while growing your experience in nonprofit development.
