WE WILL EMAIL EVERYONE WHO HAS SIGNED UP WITH THE EXACT DATE AND TIME WHEN WE KNOW IT. WE ARE AT THE MERCY OF THE TRUCKING COMPANY. THIS SECTION WILL BE UPDATED AND AN EMAIL SENT WHEN WE KNOW FOR SURE.
IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL ONCE THE EXACT TIME IS KNOWN BECAUSE YOU CANNOT MAKE IT, THAT IS OK. NO HARD FEELINGS!
Please help us unload our Christmas Tree truck and support the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad. We are looking for student volunteers for SSL hours to work approximately four hours to help unload one truck full of Christmas Trees. Students will also be provided a learning handout on careers and volunteer opportunities at the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad and Montgomery County Fire/Rescue Service.
Dress appropriately for outdoor weather. Work gloves will be provided. This opportunity involves some lifting and is not wheelchair accessible.
PARK IN THE BALLROOM PARKING LOT NEXT TO THE STATION.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
