MLK Service Day with SGAP Leaders
Volunteer with The Urban Studio in honoring Dr. King while also connecting the community with nature in the Chesapeake Bay through art. This tabling event aims to provide nature art-themed coloring pages with illustrations of local plants and animals for residents of local assisted living facilities.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing stock of art materials and supplies
- Guiding participants in art activities as they stop by the table
- Earn up to 2 Montgomery County SSL hours by signing up for 1hr or more
When: Sunday, January 18, from 2pm-4pm

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
