Delegate Pam Queen's Living Organ Donor Video Contest - Contest Ends 3/31/26

Create a 60-second video promoting the importance of living organ donations!

Students who submit a quality video entry to the contest will earn 10 SSL hours. Students will be awarded SSL hours in May of 2026 if their submission meets all of the contest requirements.

Students, please DO NOT respond to this opportunity -- all middle and high school students may participate in this competition by following the rules and guidelines below.

Contest Rules:

  • Your video must address living organ donor awareness and best practices
  • Entries must have a title
  • Entries can be no more than 60 seconds in length (not including the title/credit slides)
  • Entries can be individual or a team (up to 5 members)
  • Each student participating in the contest must be listed on the entry form
  • One entry per team or individual. Students may enter as an Individual or as a team of up to 5 students from the same school. If a student in any way participates in more than one video, all of those entries will be disqualified.
  • No professional assistance
  • No use of copyrighted material is allowed, including background music
  • Entries must not contain inappropriate or explicit images nor the use of profanity
  • Video submissions will be accepted in both English and Spanish languages
  • All submissions must be uploaded to Google Drive, Drop Box, YouTube, or a similar program and a link must be provided on the entry form
  • All STUDENTS must submit by 3/31/26, and those who do will receive 10 SSL hours in May!

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy at any time the student is interacting with the nonprofit and its clients. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns. This service activity is designed to be completed within the safety of the student’s home.
