The PATESI Foundation is seeking a creative, detail-oriented volunteer with experience in (or love of) event decorating to help bring our Love Yourself event to life on February 15th.
Love Yourself is an interactive experience designed to meet girls where they are—with compassion, clarity, and dignity—creating a safe, affirming space that supports education, self-expression, and confidence.
About the Event
During Love Yourself, participants will:
- Learn about menstrual health in an age-appropriate, stigma-free way
- Understand how to choose period products that work for their bodies
- Explore self-care through creativity and self-expression
- Hear affirming messages that reinforce confidence, worth, and self-respect
- All programming is delivered in a trauma-informed, youth-friendly environment, aligned with the PATESI Foundation’s commitment to education, access, and empowerment.
Volunteer Role: Event Decorator
As an Event Decorator, you will play a key role in shaping the atmosphere and emotional tone of the experience.
Responsibilities may include helping: - design and set up décor that feels warm, empowering, and welcoming
- create visually engaging spaces that support learning, creativity, and reflection
- with layout, table décor, backdrops, signage, or themed areas
- with taking down and packing up decor after the event
Ideal Volunteer
This opportunity is perfect for someone who: - Has experience with event decorating, styling, or visual design, or has a good eye and love of event decorating
- Understands how environment impacts emotions, learning, and self-esteem
- Enjoys collaborating with a mission-driven team
- Is passionate about supporting girls’ confidence, wellness, and empowerment
