The Patesi Foundation is hosting a Love Yourself event on Sunday , February 15th for middle school and high school girls. During this event the girls will engage in age appropriate conversations on periods, self-care, self esteem and caring for others in the community. During the event, they will also create period emergency kits that will be donated to girls going entering the foster care system to show love and care for others. SSL hours will be provided for participation.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
