Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026, 10:00am at the Gaithersburg Public Library (18330 Montgomery Village Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20879) to celebrate and preserve the historic community of Prathertown!
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Craft Coordinator to assist with hands-on craft activities during our upcoming preservation celebration.
What you’ll do:
Set up and organize the craft area before the event.
Guide participants as they create their own crafts.
Join the fun by making crafts alongside guests when possible.
Observe safety risks of using craft equipment.
General Event Support
Ideal for: Volunteers who enjoy arts and crafts, interacting with visitors, and helping create a welcoming, hands-on experience for all ages.
Be part of a community effort to celebrate and preserve Prathertown’s unique legacy through creativity and connection!
Please Note: Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own food and water. Breaks will be included, and SSL forms will be provided. Feel free to bring canned goods to donate to our food drive. Participants should include their best contact number to be informed of any changes to this service project. There will be no refrigeration available for food items.

damage.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
