The Children-Based volunteer provides students with a hands-on opportunity to support children in a fun, structured ABA environment. Interns assist with group activities, social skills programming, and community-based learning while working closely with experienced BCBAs and RBTs. This volunteer position is ideal for students seeking to complete practicum hours while gaining real-world experience in behavioral health.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
