Montgomery Parks is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our Spring Native Plant Sale at the Maydale Nature Classroom. This event serves as a major fundraiser for nature center programs while giving the public an opportunity to create habitat at home through native plant gardening.
Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and is welcoming for all visitors.
Volunteers are needed to assist with sorting plants into orders, loading plant orders into cars, event setup and breakdown, and general visitor assistance.
This is event takes place entirely outdoors.
Whether you're passionate about native plants, enjoy working with people, or simply want to support environmental education, your time and effort will make a meaningful difference.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
