Do you enjoy photography? We are looking for a volunteer photographer to photograph the graduation ceremony for the Community Advocacy Institute (CAI). The CAI is a free, bilingual (English and Spanish) training program for income-eligible County residents who want to learn how to advocate for their own communities. Participants attend monthly workshops about a wide variety of advocacy topics during the eight-month program and then complete an advocacy project.
We are looking for a volunteer to take photos at the CAI graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 13th. The graduation will take place at the Silver Spring Civic Building. We will have a dinner reception at 5:30 PM, followed by the formal program from 6 – 7 PM. We are looking for a volunteer to take pictures during the event and take some posed group shots after the event. We would ideally want the photographer to join us from 5:30 – 7:30 PM, although the exact timing can be adjusted. We would request a small number of photos by the day after the graduation so that the photos can be included in our press release and posted online.
